Sadly, the Islamic Republic of Iran continues to threaten the United States and our allies and that threat must be recognized and confronted. My amendment signals the resolve of the United States to do that. At a time when Iran is openly threatening to destroy the United States and our various allies—and is providing weapons, such as explosively formed penetrators, or EFPs, which we have pretty clearly traced to Iran today, and that are killing our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan—demonstrating our understanding of the seriousness of their threat and their purpose is critical for us to have clear thinking and sound policy. So I appreciate my colleagues, such as Senator Lieberman, who spoke eloquently and offered an amendment on the need to confront Iran's support of worldwide terrorism, which we voted on yesterday—in a very strong vote.

I see missile defense as another facet of confronting and facing this threat. Even in the Middle East, where anti-Israel sentiments are all too common, Iran is the only country in the Middle East where the President openly calls for the destruction of Israel. Shortly after taking office in 2005, Ahmadi-Nejad, the President, rallied supporters at a conference, and the conference was called "A World Without Zionism." In that speech he said, ''The current skirmishes in the occupied land are part of a war of destiny. The outcome of hundreds of years of war will be defined in Palestinian land. As the Imam said''—and here he is referring to the Ayatollah Khomeini—"Israel must be wiped off the map."

But Israel isn't the only target of Iran's crash program to develop long-range missiles with nuclear warheads—long-range missiles they are now developing. He is developing also nuclear warheads. In the same speech Ahmadi-Nejad was quoted as saying this: ''Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation's fury.''

That includes, of course, the United States—us—and our allies in Europe and the Middle East. For anyone who doubts that Ahmadi-Nejad's threat was meant to include America, he has also been quoted as saying this: ''And God willing, with the force of God behind it, we shall soon experience a world without the United States and Zionism.''

A world without the United States. It does not get much more straightforward than that. Arnaud de Borchgrave, an experienced world observer and editor at large of the Washington Times and United Press International, had a piece in the Washington Times yesterday, and he pointed out some of the examples of the kind of extremism, real extremism, we have seen from the Iranian leadership.

Another Item to File Under: The Real “All-American Muslim.”

I’ve been following this story–Muslim Arab football players from a Muslim “charter” school violently attacked a player from the opposing Christian school’s team and deliberately gave him a concussion–because I have dear friends whose kids attend the Christian school.  I’ve known about this story for months, but the names were not released until recently.  If this happened off the football field, it would have long ago resulted in criminal charges, and these Islamo-thugs have finally been charged. It’s not your typical on-field sack or pancake. It’s deliberate, violent assault and a hate crime against a Christian by Muslims.  In case you were wondering, Star International Academy is a publicly-funded (by you) charter school that is really a MUSLIM school you are funding. And don’t let their effeminate, RuPaul-esque guybrows fool you. THEY. ARE. THUGS. And THIS. IS. ISLAM. You know, “The Religion of Peace!” You know dat’s riiiight.

But, now, they are crying, “raaaaacism!” (quick, what “race” is Islam?)  via their attorney, Nabih Ayad, about whom I’ve written a great deal, including his family ties to Hezbollah, the $100,000-plus student loans he didn’t pay, his losing National Security Agency wiretap lawsuit, and /his failed niqab (full-ninja face veil) lawsuit.  Now, this. As for the “racism” BS, they were charged in Dearbornistan Heights, which features a Hezbollah judge (David Turfe, who will probably go easy on these pan-jihadists) and a majority or soon-to-be majority Muslim population. The bigotry–and yes, the racism, since Muslim Arabs don’t consider themselves White–was evident in their violent assault on this poor kid.

A figurative beat down turned literal beating has led to the felony arrests of a group of local high school football players.

Police arrested four Star International Academy seniors Wednesday on aggravated assault charges stemming from an altercation in the team’s last game of the season.

The players — Mohamed Ahmed, Fanar Al-Alsady, Hadee Attia and Ali Bajjey, all age 17 — are accused of gang-beating Lutheran Westland’s quarterback as time expired in Lutheran’s 47-6 drubbing of Star on Oct. 21.

According to numerous witness statements gathered by police, Lutheran’s quarterback was set to take a knee to run out the clock. Before the snap, referees told both teams to refrain from contact, police said.

After the snap, however, the four arrested Star players burst through the line and allegedly manhandled Lutheran’s quarterback. Police said they ripped off his helmet, threw him to the ground and punched and kicked him repeatedly. The incident came to an end after coaches, players and refs stepped in and broke it up.

Religion of Peace

Police took a statement from a referee who said he heard a Star player say to hit the referees after being directed to not hit the other team.

According to published reports, Lutheran’s quarterback suffered a concussion from the beating.

Not only are these violent thugs Muslim Arabs who committed a deliberate hate crime against a kid because he’s Christian, but, again, they attend a MUSLIM “charter” school on your taxpayer dime.

Alhamdillullah [praise allah]. Need more evidence we’re losing the war against the Islamic threat on our own shores?

Debbie, these aren’t normal high school students. They were losing 47 to 6 on the last play of the game. The winning QB is going tdown on one knee to run the last few seconds of the clock out. There is absolutely no way they could win. The referree told them not to tackle the QB as the game was over except for the technicality. Believe me these creatures from Hell knew all of this. They used this situation to give the QB a concussion. It could have been worse. They could have KILLED him. This is beyond bad spotsmanship. This is criminal behavior and frankly a misdemeanor isn’t enough. They should all be banned from playing football ever again for this. This is not racism, this is just evil.
